Approximately 50 weeks have passed since we started this journey, and I
think we have finally come to the end of the road.

I used USPS Express Mail for the check this morning, and was told that
Fidelity should receive the check by 3:00pm pacific on 1 April. We
finished signing the docs a little after 10 eastern. The notary said
she would mail the signed doc last night.

Christine and I want to thank you from the bottom of our heart for
sticking with us. We realize that the delays were out of your hands.
You are a true professional and a person we are proud to know. We feel
we know you as a different person (a friend) than just our loan officer.
We certainly will keep you in mind if we need your services again, and
will pass your business on to anyone that needs your services.

If you ever get to Washington DC we would love to meet you.

My husband and I were expecting our first child. So naturally we wanted to make sure we were prepared for the baby both mentally and financially. The first thing on the agenda was to make sure we can lower our monthly mortgage and interest rate.

I called several brokers and lending companies from all the offers we get through the mail, but there was only one agent that was helpful and that talked to me like I was a person and was patient enough to explain to me what FHA loan refinancing means (without using big terminology or shop talk).
